The Washington-Nile Local School District consists of Pre-K trough 12 with three schools making up our beautiful campus. We have one elementary school that house 613 students, a middle school that has an enrollment of 471 students, and a high school that has 413 students. We are located in West Portsmouth, Ohio. Our district includes portions of Washington and Nile townships.

Our district has a strong tradition in regards to Fine Arts. Our vocal music and band programs work very hard to receive the State recognitions they have received.

The district promotes and support high achievement with; our one to one technology program, our gifted program, and our many advanced placement programs and dual credit opportunities.

West students take great pride in academic and extra-curricular accomplishments. The strong support of the PTA, Athletic Boosters, and community enhance the lives our students.
