Our 2020-21 Basketball Homecoming ceremonies will be held on January 23rd as the Senators will host the Notre Dame Titans. Tonight's boys basketball game at Northwest has been postponed.

Due to COVID restrictions, Portsmouth West High School is unable to host an in-person College Credit Plus informational meeting this year. We invite students and parents to review Shawnee State University's PowerPoint that outlines all aspects of the program. updated girls basketball schedule as of 12/9/20

Sports schedule changes 12/9/20: Tonight's (12/9) home JV girls basketball game has been postponed. The Home girls basketball game against Valley will now be played on December 30th with a 6PM JV start. The girls basketball game at Minford will now be played on December 14th at 6:00 PM

Student Pictures Are Here ! Students can come in Monday through Friday between 9:00-1:00 to pick your pictures up at the front office.

This week in sports 12/7/20 Change: The girls basketball game at Minford on 12/10 is postponed. We have moved the South Webster game from 12/21 to 12/10.

Students: On Monday December 7th, you will receive through your school issued @westsenators.org email address a link to a digital nomination form for Basketball Homecoming. The form will accept nominations from 8:00 am Monday December 7th to 3:00 pm on Wednesday December 9th. This form is a secure form and may only be submitted if a student is logged into their school issued email account and can only be submitted once. Please contact the high school at 740-858-1103 if you have issues logging into your account. CTC students will also receive a nomination form through their @westsenators.org email address. Additionally, prior to the final vote, all participants/nominees will be required to attend an informational meeting through Google Meet on Friday December 11th at 11:00 am with Mrs. Linda Tieman. This meeting will be held to provide transparency to all potential participants as to what this year's homecoming will look like due to COVID-19 restrictions. Nominees will receive an invitation to the meeting through their @westsenators.org email address. Upon the completion of the nomination process, the final ballot will be emailed to students on Monday December 14th and be open until Wednesday December 16th. Winners will be announced on Thursday December 17th. Thank you and Go Senators!

This week in sports 11/30/20

Portsmouth West High School will be open from 9:00am-11:00 am each school day to allow students without quality home internet service to come in and complete their online school work. Students will need to bring their charged Chromebook, and will be asked to sit in the cafeteria, wear their mask, and practice safe social distancing. The school will provide supervision during this time. Students will not be allowed to visit classrooms or move about the building.
