October is once again Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In an effort to battle this condition that affects so many families, Portsmouth West High School is holding a fundraiser through the entire month of October. Beginning Monday October 5th, students are encouraged to donate coins, pocket change, or any other funds during their homeroom period to fight this debilitating disease. All funds will be donated to the local Breast Cancer Compassion Fund. Please join us as we honor those who have battled breast cancer in our community

Students: Are you looking to be a part of the community, build an impressive resume and be a part of something bigger? Key club is what you are looking for! Key club is a student-led group that meets monthly (weekly at first) to discuss ways we can help our community and make a positive impact on the lives of others. If you came to a pancake breakfast last year here at the high school in support of a student with cancer, that was hosted by Key club. We host activities for Elementary students, raise money to help different organizations and volunteer for a number of community organizations throughout the school year.
