FinalForms has been launched for the district. All K-12 existing parents should have received an email from FinalForms for you to register your account. New students parents can enroll their students using the link on the district website. All school forms, such as parent contact information, emergence medical forms, and athletic eligibility forms, need to be completed using FinalForms. Reminder to all student-athletes at PWMS: All students must be registered in Final Forms. Parents were sent an email link. If you need assistance contact the middle school office, or email christopher.jordan@westsenators.org. Also, physical forms need to be on file in Final Forms. Turn completed physical forms into coaches ASAP and the information will be logged into the system. Make sure we are following all COVID-19 safety protocols. Stay safe!!

Any upcoming 7th or 8th grade students interested in playing Middle School Football should contact Joe Sissel at 740-456-7153 or on Facebook. You may also contact Justin Staggs, Sam Windsor, or Brian Wroten. We are having early season voluntary workouts and this is a great time for players to try the game no matter what experience level they have. All parents and students must complete the required information in FinalForms to participate.

This is a reminder to middle school students and parents of the importance of completing information on Final Forms. Athletic participation is directly tied to critical information that must be entered by parents in Final Forms. Once you login parents/students can select sports that students are interested in. This will immediately add them to a teams roster. Important information such as physicals, emergency medical, scheduling, etc will be stored. Thanks for completing Final Forms Registration promptly. Any entering freshman student interested in boys high school soccer, please contact Coach Bryan Craft at 740-464-2692. Also you must complete your information on FinalForms to be illegible.

Portsmouth West Middle School cheerleading tryouts will be held virtually this year. Practice videos are located on the high school cheer website to begin practicing. If you are interested in trying out you must register with Tracy Bauer at 740-464-8292 for further instructions. You must also complete your paperwork on FinalForms to be eligible.

PWMS cheer tryouts will be virtual this year. You can begin practicing by going to the high school website where the videos for the cheers, school song, and dance can be found. Also practice jumps such as toe touch and pike. If you plan to tryout for Jr. High Cheer you need to register with Tracy Bauer at 740-464-8292.

We are very excited to announce that the Washington-Nile Local School District has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service that will be replacing paper forms. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign enrollment, back-to-school and athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time. For that reason we need accurate email addresses for parents of every student. The middle school will be collecting books and chrome books again today from 11 to 3. Today is the last day the building will be occupied. To avoid any charges, items need to be returned today. Thank you

Just a reminder that books and chrome books need to be dropped off at the middle school. Reports cards are available as well. We are at the cafeteria door until 6 this evening.

Information has been sent to 5-7th grade students through Google Classroom to sign up for Enrichment classes for next year.

The middle school will have times next week for parents and students to drop off books and Chromebooks. Report cards will be available at the same time. Wednesday and Thursday 1 to 6 and Friday 11 to 3. Please drive behind the building to the student drop off location. Someone will help you from there. Please remain in your vehicle and do not enter the building. Thank you

Today starts finals week. Please encourage you child to do well. The final exam grades go directly on the report card and count for 1/10th of the yearly average. Make sure all missing assignments are turned in by the end of this week.

Washington-Nile Teacher Parade: Portsmouth West teachers and bus drivers will be cruising the West Side this evening, Thursday, May 7th, to say "Hello"! Come out, pull up a lawn chair and enjoy the parade!

There are still 12 eighth grade students who have not registered for high school. Today is the last day to register. Information was sent to student emails.

The governor has ordered schools to continue with distance learning, this does not mean school is closed for the year. Students are to continue working on assignments which are being graded and placed in Progress Book. The grades will count in the final average for the year. Teachers are reporting that some students need to catch up on their work. We need to work together to make this a success for our children.

Many parents have requested to be added to your child's Google Classroom. When you receive the invitation through email you must accept it. Then you will have the choice to set up daily or weekly notifications. If you do not accept the invitation, you will not receive any notifications.
