We will play Minford 8th grade football on Thursday at 5:00. Due to their low numbers, unfortunately we will only play two quarters of 7th grade. Hopefully, later in the season we can compete with their 7th grade for a complete contest. Things are going well at the Middle School. Students are getting acclimated to the new procedures and already have assignments. Class sizes range from 3-13. Students are cooperative and working hard. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding through all the changes.

Portsmouth West Re-Opening Plan is located on the school website under the COVID Portal. As of today, we will begin in ORANGE. Group A will be at school on Monday and Tuesday. Group A will have remote learning on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Group A will be from the Highway 52 end of Carey's Run to Lett Terrace. Group A will also include all open enrollment students from Portsmouth City Schools. Group B will be at school on Wednesday and Thursday. Group B will have remote learning on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Group B students live on Carey's Run down to Buena Vista. Group B will also include all other open enrollment students. Chromebooks for attending students will be passed out the first day they attend. Be sure all of your information is up to date in FinalForms as we will be using that information to keep you up to date. Thank you
