In addition to receiving core instruction in reading and math, students attending the Senator Summer Camp will also receive classes in Robotics, Virtual Reality, Coding and 3D printing. To: Portsmouth West 8th grade parents of students going to Cincinnati Incentive trip Date: Thursday, May 26th,2022 Subject: Change of venue for incentive trip for Thursday, May 26th, 2022 Due to strong probability of rain tomorrow for the Cincinnati Reds game, our 8th grade trip has been changed to a different location. Staff and 8th grade students attending the trip tomorrow will be going to the Web Extreme Entertainment Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Students will report to school on normal time. Busses will leave at 9am and will return by approximately 7pm. Please email or sign a note giving your child permission to attend. PWMS parents of students who qualified for the Reds trip need to be aware that the stadium is cashless. We recommend getting Visa gift cards to purchase items in the stadium. The Reds do have machines for cash transactions for stadium cards. However, the card is only good for stadium items.
