There may have been some confusion about pick-up procedures. All parents will need to go to the west side parking lot to meet your child after dismissal. The students will be dismissed at door #5 (by the gym).
Therefore, the only time parents/guardians will drive around the back of the building is for drop-off in the am.

Hi Senators! PWMS morning drop off instructions:
from West: Take a right at the light and proceed to the service road (before Shriners entrance). Take a right and go around the back of the building and drop your student(s) off at the cafeteria door.
from East: Enter campus by the soccer and baseball fields. Proceed to the service road (after Shriners entrance). Take a left and go around the back of the building and drop your student(s) off at the cafeteria entrance.
For afternoon pickup: Enter campus as in the morning. Proceed to the parking lot on the West end of the building. There will most likely be a line so please be patient. Please take your spot in line. Following these procedures will improve the safety of our students.

Reminder for parents of incoming Kindergarten, 7th graders, and Seniors. We are looking forward to the return of our students! Do not forget to get your child’s required school immunizations before our return date on August 18th to avoid school exclusion. Call your doctor, health department, Wal-Mart, Kroger, CVS for an appointment.
Any junior high student interested in running boys or girls Cross Country this year should be at the front of the high school Monday, August 9th at 8:00 for practice. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Conrad at julie.conrad@westsenators.org.

PWMS Summer Camp parents/guardians who bring students each day:
For the week of Aug. 2-Aug. 6, please use the service drive by the Shriners and loop around the back of the building and drop off students at the 7th and 8th grade doors.

PWMS Summer Camp buses left the school around 9am to the Cincinnati Zoo. To ensure students have enough time to enjoy their trip the arrival time back home is now approx. 5:30.

PWMS Summer Camp Reminders:
1. Buses will run 15 min. earlier than normal. Drop-offs need to arrive by 8:00.
2. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided. Students are permitted to purchase additional items.
3. Sunscreen will be provided. Please inform office personnel if your student is allergic.
4. Permission slips must be turned in by Friday AM.
5. Students must meet attendance, academic, and behavioral expectations M-R.
6. Students who are not attending the trip should not report on Friday's.

Signups are now open for kindergarten to six grade Football and Cheerleaders that wishes to participate in upcoming 2021 season.

Reminder: Football workouts for students entering the 7th and 8th grade will begin this evening. Workouts will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at the weight room 6:00-7:15pm.

No speed and agility Thursday. The gyms are unavailable and it's gonna rain all day. We will have weights Friday.
Next week we will have weights Monday Wednesday Thursday from 6pm to 7:15. Please wear shoes suitable for agility drills

Reminder: Portsmouth West Middle School will have inflatables for students to enjoy this week. Be sure you child has turned in their permission slip. Also, the 7th and 8th grave students are able to buy snow cones for $2 tomorrow. This is the last week of school for students.
