Next week we will be having our book fair Mon-Fri and on Wednesday we will have Goodies with Grands (or other special person in your child's life). The book fair will we open early on Wednesday (8:15-9:00) for kids and grandparents and open after school (3:20-4:00) for any adults who may want to shop with their kids.

On Friday, November 1st, students may wear a hat for a $1 donation to the Veterans' Food Drive, organized by Mrs. Morgan's and Mrs. Raines' fourth grade classrooms. Thank you! #WeAreWest!

The Operation Thank You Food Drive for Veterans will end Nov. 1st. PLEASE encourage your child to participate in this important community service. A letter was sent home detailing the items requested from each grade level (cans of soup, vegetables, crackers, cookies, snack cakes, peanut butter, tuna, canned fruit, canned meat, dry pasta, nuts and jars of spaghetti sauce). The Washington-Nile Local School District will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, October 24. This delay includes all three buildings. The purpose of the delay is to extend teacher team meetings. Thank you.
