Our Senator Community has been asked to help with donations for the people affected by the recent hurricane that devastated the Appalachian Mountains region of North Carolina.

Donations will be collected in totes set out at the front entrance of Portsmouth West High School on Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the school day. Staff will then take these items to the semi-trucks located at South Webster High School which will then be delivered on Thursday, October 10th, 2024. If anyone from our community would like to donate any of the following items, please bring them to Portsmouth West High School and drop them off in the totes located under the front entrance or call the school at 740-858-1100 and someone will come out to your vehicle to retrieve your donated items.

Trash Bags
Cleaning products
Hand Sanitizer
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Soap
Razors
Paper products of all sorts
Plastic Silverware
Diapers (any size)
Canned food items
Other non-perishable food items
Deodorant
Shampoo
Baby bottles
other household items (ex. Broom, Bandaids, neosporin dust pan, etc.)
