Parents and Guardians,
We will be having a Veterans Day assembly at PWES on November 10th at 9:30, led by Ms. Amanda Sherman. If you would like to send in a picture of a veteran in your family with your child, please do so. We will ask these students to stand and lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance as they hold the picture of their loved one. Thank you in advance to all of the Veterans in our PWES family; we appreciate your service and dedication to our country!
Math and Literacy Night is scheduled for Thursday evening. so there will be no Beyond the Bell classes for students at the elementary. Math and Literacy Night begins at 6:00 and we hope to see you there!
There will be no Beyond the Bell at the elementary school for grades K-4 for this Thursday due to Math and Literacy Night. The Middle School will continue to have Beyond the Bell.
Goodies With Grands for Kindergarten and First grade students will be today, November 1, at 2:00. Second, Third and Fourth grade students will be Thursday, November 3 at the same time. Grandparents and family members, PLEASE come to Door 9 on the side of the building facing 52 instead of the front door. The Book Fair will be open and we are looking forward to seeing all of you! #WeAreWest!

We will have a district wide Hat Day to benefit Aubrey Redden on Thursday, October 27th. Students may wear a hat of their choice for a dollar or more donation. Let's all work together to show our support of this beautiful girl! Thank you!

This beautiful girl, Aubrey Jo Redden, will be undergoing a major surgery soon. We will be having a hat day October 27th, district wide, to support Aubrey and her family, Students may wear a hat of their choice for $1.00 or more donation. Let's show our West Side support to this family!

PWHS Cheerleading Camp
When: Wednesday September 14
Thursday September 15
Time: 3:15 to 5:00.
Cost: $35 which includes a T-shirt, a bow and snack
Participants will be escorted to the high school
Participants will be provided with a snack and water
Participants will perform with the high school cheerleaders on Friday September 16 before the game
Participants do not need to be a current cheerleader to attend the camp
Forms must be signed before the camp. I will be at the high school on Tuesday from 5 to 7 in the front parking lot . with the forms. Please contact me if you have any questions. Robin Hileman (740). 961-2498
