Portsmouth West had the highest percentage of students attend UCAN Go To College night held Oct. 24 at SOMC Friends Center. Of the 13 schools in the area who had students attend, PWHS students made up 25% of all attendees - almost twice as many as the next closest school's participants. Though many PWHS students are involved in numerous extracurricular activities, they still made the effort to attend and learn more about the post-secondary options available.
Also, congratulations to senior Breanna Skaggs and junior Gary Jenkins for each winning a $250 scholarship at the UCAN Go To College night!
