women's bobsled

Olympic athletes, Brittany Johnson and Leslie Stratton, recently spoke with PWHS female athletes about their experiences in the athletic realm.  Much of the athletes' discussion focused on leadership, character development, and success in and out of the classroom.

Brittany Johnson is a current member of the USA Bobsled Team.  She is, also, an aviation pilot who teaches private lessons to students.  Brittany currently facilitates weightlifting with our female high school athletes, which, in turn, has already greatly impacted our girls' athletic program.

Leslie Stratton currently is a skeleton bobsledding athlete for the Swedish National Team. She has played softball for the Swedish national team as well.

Both of these athletes made history when they were also  a part of the first all-female four-person team to compete in an international race.

Our school would like to formally thank these two athletes for their time and wish them the best of luck in their future competitions.
