PWES 3rd grade teacher, Deanna Roberts, recently completed a course designed to help teachers effectively and efficiently manage classrooms and all the various needs that are a daily part of a workday.
"A couple of years ago, I signed up for a professional development class called the 40 Hour Teacher Workweek Club to help me cut back on the amount of hours I spent working. Previously I was spending 70+ hours a week working over at school, grading papers during evenings and weekends, planning curriculum, etc., etc. I knew there had to be a way to cut back to a reasonable amount of time working and still be the teacher I felt my students deserved. The creator of the club saw some of my responses to various activities throughout the year long program and asked if I would write something up about my experience with the club; and here it is!"
Use the link below to access Deanna's 22 step system. You will be sure to find something there that will make your workday a bit easier!
Congratulations Deanna! #WestSidePride!
